Youth BJJ/ Youth Wrestling

Our kids Jiu Jitsu/ Wrestling program is the first step in ensuring your child is bully-proof. It is highly effective even against older, bigger, & stronger individuals.
Your child will learn techniques to escape from underneath a pinned position, take control of the fight, & ultimately submit or escape from their opponent.
Our kids Jiu Jitsu/ Wrestling Program is open to ages 5 & up. We focus on basic grappling techniques as well as broader martial arts concepts including self-discipline, respect, & teamwork.
Wrestling is the ultimate tool for maintaining control in a fight. Through wrestling, your child will learn how to safely take a fight to the ground, remain on top and in good position, and be ready to apply their Jiu Jitsu skills. Wrestling and Jiu Jitsu are sister sports and it is greatly beneficial to learn both together to become a well-rounded and confident grappler.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu teaches principals of leverage to grapple and control your opponent, even if they are bigger and stronger. Jiu Jitsu is the ultimate form of self defense because it relies on technique & positioning, not strength. Jiu Jitsu is often called "the gentle art" because it does not rely on strikes or physical force.
In this class, you will learn a variety of chokeholds, joint locks, pins, and how to choose the correct technique based on the situation. In Gi class, we wear the traditional jiu jitsu uniform (the Gi) and you will learn how to use and defend against grips on clothing, which is highly useful in self-defense. In No Gi class, we wear regular workout clothing and learn to grapple without the use of grips.
Our Jiu Jitsu program is Beginner-friendly & women-friendly. Fundamental concepts are the basis of all classes with more advances techniques added for the advanced students. All skill and fitness levels are welcome & no prior knowledge or experience is needed to join.
Adult MMA Striking

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a complete fighting style based on "no holds barred" combat. MMA competition is the ultimate test of any martial artist. In this class you will learn a hybrid striking style based on Muay Thai, Boxing, and American Kickboxing. You will learn how to use your strikes to setup and defend against takedowns so you are in control of where the fight takes place. You will also learn how to use strikes on the ground. This class combined with Jiu Jitsu will give you the full range of knowledge needed to defend yourself in any situation and to compete under a variety of rule sets.
As with all our classes, we are beginner-friendly and women-friendly. There is no experience necessary to join & we cater to all fitness levels. The MMA striking class is open to ages 12+.
Cardio Kickboxing

Cardio Kickboxing is the king of fun cardio workouts. This is a no-contact class (no sparring) with an emphasis on bag work and core fitness. This class is less focused on technique and more focused on getting you moving and improving your cardio fitness. As with all our classes, no experience is necessary. You can borrow gloves for the first few classes until you get your own. Ask the instructor for recommendations on brands and places to buy gloves.
